Spending is by Congress, not the President.
I am amazed…….. Ever since President Obama took office, the wheel of CHANGE in politics looks like a runaway train. I can remember the take over of the communist system in Hungary in 1945 right after 2nd world war. It took the new communist government 3 years to eliminate all traces of the previous regimes. First the banks, railroads and public transportation, power plants/electrical services etc. were NATIONALIZED (under government control). Than came the all large factories and manufacturing companies, schools and all other government associated offices totaly under federal control. Than came the confescation of private properties, lands 1000 acres and up, castles or big estate homes. Than followed by the take over of smaller properties and land holdings, until all and evrything now belonged to the PEOPLE. (health care went with the factories). I have never in my life could have immgined that here in the USA simmilar thing could ever happen. The bail out money that put the country in a deeper debt. The ever rising inflation, the rising unemployment and the deteroation of the US Dollar is beyond belief, that it will ever happen HERE. The de-sanctification of marriage, giving up freedom for gov. controled security and the constant chipping away of our laws and constitutional rights will lead to just that. Well it may not going to be called communism, but it will be for the “welfare of the PEOPLE”. Think about it fellow AMERICANS, before it is tooooo late.
National health care hasn’t worked so well for Canada. Why is it that we don’t want to learn from others mistakes? What we need is is a plan that WORKS to meet the needs of the sick in our country!
Perfect. This fits the bill succinctly. Technology sure does make a difference in getting Truth to the people.
Actually, Troy, I respectfully doubt that you would know whether the Family Research Council said anything about Bush’s policies as I doubt you were watching all of their newsletters, etc. during the Bush administration. I assure you that they disagreed with some of the policies of President Bush. It’s a typical “lame” argument to say that everyone who disagrees with the type of health-care “reform” proposed by President Obama wants to “deny healthcare to the sick.” My husband has been on dialysis for 23 years, and he has Ph.D. in political science – therefore, he has carefully read the proposed healthcare reform bills – all of which cut services to dialysis patients by at least one-third. So, who is denying healthcare to the sick?
Ah ha ha, Bush destroyed our country? I don’t think so! After 9/11, he kept this country from going under. The financial markets were crushed after that attack and came back roaring within a relatively short period of time. You don’t plan for war spending after an attack like that crushes your financial markets, but he kept this country safe from that point on and we had no further terrorist attacks, only attempts. If he had not sent troops into Iraq and Afghanistan, I believe the terrorist would have called our bluff as being a weak nation and attacked us again! I don’t agree with some of the reckless spending, like the bail-out at the end of his term, but compared to what O has spent us into goes beyond all the previous administrations going back to George Washington combined!
If he hadn’t been filibustered so consistently by the democrats, we’d have been even better off now despite O’s creating more and more government spending!
