This is another example of diminishing the value and honor of what was a very special award. It is like a military person receiving the Purple Heart for cutting their hand while peeling potatoes while still in basic training. This is a disgrace.

...oh, and I'm not defending the decision to give Obama the Peace Prize. It was a very bizarre decision. But note, that all US presidents are "nominated" for the peace prize as a routine practice, no matter how long they've been in office. They didn't award the PP to him on Feb 15. Someone nominated him then. No decision was made until much much later. Again, not defending the final decision, but we should be honest about the facts.

@Susan Fox. You state, "I find nothing peaceful about a man who destroys America with each passing day."
I don't see America being destroyed. We're recovering from a recession. At least Obama hasn't invaded a country and lied about the justification for doing so like Bush did. Now that's destructive.

Sorry FRC, here's one for you:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/8305217.stm

Bans 'do not cut abortion rate
Restricting the availability of legal abortion does not appear to reduce the number of women trying to end unwanted pregnancies, a major report suggests.

In the developed world, legal restrictions did not stop abortion but just meant it was "exported", with Irish women for instance simply travelling to Europe, according to Guttmacher's director, Dr Sharon Camp. In the developing world, it meant lives were put at risk.

"Too many women are maimed or killed each year because they lack legal abortion access," she said.

Western Europe is held up as an example of what access to contraceptive services can achieve, and the Netherlands - with just 10 abortions per 1,000 women compared to the world's 29 per 1,000 - is held up as the gold standard.

President Obama has unfortunately decided to accept a prize for which he did nothing to earn. This action does not honor America; it unfortunately lowers the honor of receiving such a prize instead.

Since Obama has been in Office I have had to totally rely on the peace that passes all understanding, Jesus Christ. I find nothing peaceful about a man who destroys America with each passing day.

BHO, continues to be the quintessential embodiement of the fabled Peter Principle. Heaping the now meaningless Nobel accolade, (read Arafat, Carter, Gore et. al.) only fuels the hollow ego of a leader(?) who is prone to dictum rather than example.

Seems that there are others who has fallen into this spell called deception,
Ecclesiastes 10:2 "a wise man's heart is at his right hand, but a fool's heart at his left".
