When both the mother and child are obviously likely to die unless an abortion takes place, I still believe it should be the mother to offer to risk her life or not instead of being told she has no choice. An equal life decision would be stepping into the path of a car certain to hit you in order to attempt saving a careless child of your own or not, or other decisions which are easy to imagine but much harder to deal with when actually confronted by them.

I always put compassion first until I started being a victim of untrustworthy people who took advantage of my faith. The devil is in the details but gossip can destroy a person using speculation without any true details, which is how many people with compassion have been killed by those who do not seek truth.

Family values need a foundation of compassion because to be human is to get overwhelmed with information and make mistakes without even realizing it.
