There is so much misinformation being put out there that the White House needs to use a net for maximum catches. More power to them, I say. I received, for the first time that I can remember, false information about health care insurance reform through a large prayer chain that I have participated in for years. I asked the leader of the chain to publish more objective and truthful information (which I supplied), but he has not done that. The Christian right (I am myself a Charismatic Christian) needs to clean up its act with respect to truth. But, my opinion is that it is unlikely to happen, as most of the mouths speaking for the Christian Right follow hook, line, and sinker the Republican line and talking points.

The White House is perfectly in its own right to ask people to report on the false and distorted information that's being propagated by the radical fringed whose sole goal is to stymie even discussing the health care "proposals." Enough is enough. The cacophony of people with sleight of mind and misguided agenda has made this process, which should allow the American people to hear all sides and their corresponding pros and cons, into a circus. Time to fight back.

Here's an idea, which I have already carried out myself: Let's write in to fishy@whitehouse.gov with all the "fishy" things that we have heard and seen, such as the idea that healthcare reform will be fully funded, that there will be no tax increase on the middle class to pay for it, that all people will be able to choose their own insurance and doctors even after employers drop their health insurance coverage and leave them no option but public health insurance, etc. Those sound pretty "fishy" to me! If enough people write in (I'm serious!) maybe the White House will back off on this.
