Either Anthony missed the point or he'd make a great member of Obama's Relative Effectiveness Research team. If it was you or your parents, you wouldn't want the government deciding life or death. And if you have a 5% chance of surviving and living a productive life, do want an accountant making that decision?

Oregon is hardly sentencing them to death. They have cancer and Oregon is unwilling to pay a huge amount of money on a change to save someone that will most likely die. Resources are limited. If Oregon pays for this medicine, what must they give up to afford it? What if the money was used to save a child's life, or the life of someone who will live 30 more years? God has a plan for each persons life, and if you are unhappy with how many years he has given you blaiming government health care isn't going to help.
