I think Obama long term will do more to reduce abortions than Bush ever did - and that is increasing the economic situation for those in the margins of society. Sure, Bush wants to ban all abortions (something even South Dakota voters rejected) - but since that isn't going to happen any time soon, if ever, I think it's a noble thing to look at why people have abortions and work to make it so people don't see that as the only option.
