It IS the land where dreams come true! Obama was elected and Martin Luther King Jr’s “I have a dream” speech seemed to reverberate from the heavens. We have a great country, capable of amazing transformation and people across the globe are amazed at the positive influence the USA has had in recent months (I live abroad and travel a lot, I see the reactions of the world’s people first hand). In this time of financial crisis and ongoing geopolitical tensions, the world is looking to our leadership and more confident in the US than it has been in decades.

When you speak of Reagan’s “program” do you mean the massive, irresponsible fiscal spending that was deliberately designed cripple the government or do you refer to the naive de-regulation that led to the financial crisis that now threatens the US and the world?
