We should all refresh our minds with some history. People came to America looking for religious freedom; therefore the government should promote regulations ensuring that health care doctors, nurses and administrators are not forced to practice of promote abortion against their beliefs. The conscience protection regulation is wrong. Please do not promote it!

Mr. President,
Please listen to the millions of people who voted for you looking for the freedom you preached. By favoring abortion you are putting us down. As faithful Catholics we want to have the freedom to keep our clinics Catholic and our consciences free. Please do not promote laws favoring abortion!
Sr. Elida Ocampos Gonzalez

Where is the religious freedom in which this country was founded? No government should force any citizen to act against their conscience. Catholic,Christian and any other religious people should not be forced to have an abortion or to practice abortion. No institution should be forced to any practice against their faith, conscience or convictions. How can we talk against discrimination if the government promotes laws that favor abortion, when we know that millions of people voted against it?

"For President Obama to do this would be a huge blow to religious freedom and First Amendment rights. No one should be forced to have an abortion, and no one should be forced to be an abortionist in violation of their religious or ethical convictions. However, President Obama intends to stop regulations to enforce conscience protection statutes. In doing so, he will open the door to discrimination against the choice of healthcare workers who do not want to be complicit in abortion or other controversial practices. These regulations would have ensured that healthcare workers are not forced to participate in the performance or promotion of abortion against their will. Please do not revoke the conscience protection regulation
