Abortion really has nothing to do with women's rights. It has to do with murder of an innocent life. It is the child's rights that are being outrageously denied.

What a shame that so many are openly against God. Yes, God decides who is to live and when they are to die. It is because He is God and is the Blessed Controller of all things. God chose to abort my fourth child, but He knew why. I do not. However, he gave me a fourth living child.

I do not have the authority to decide who should live or die. Only God does. Man definitely should have a stricter standard then abortion.

If you do not have fear of God, don't worry. Someday you will. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of God the Father.

I pity those who posted earlier who argued for the expansion of abortion as the furthering of wormen's rights. At one time, I too shared that opinion thanks to the liberal education provided by our public school systems. Fortunately, my opinion has changed after being presented with the facts.

Not only does abortion degrade society, it actually harms the emotional, mental and spiritual well being of women. The majority of those women who have chosen to have abortions have later gone on to suffer emotional anquish through depression and ultimately despair. There are plenty of stories by those who've experienced it being published. "Pro-choice" is verbal engineering intended to confuse the uneducated regarding when the choice is made. The choice was made when the woman chose to participate in sex without accepting the natural potential outcome and responsibility of the birth of a child.

Its time people wake up to their responsibilities and accept accountability for their actions. Any legislation the government passes to allow people, especially women, to shirk their responsibilities needs to stop. And those who continue to propagate the notion of "pro-choice" by serving as public servants need to be removed from office. Unfortunately, the ideas of Margaret Sanger have been fully implemented in destorting the truth: reduction of births means the destruction of the human race.

For those interested in the truth, I encourage you to visit the website www.priestsforlife.org. Your eyes will be opened.

You seem overly concerned with "protecting innocent life", which in your view is every fertilized egg. Consider this: medical research tells us that about half, HALF!, of all naturally occurring embryos are discarded by nature. Too late to implant, hormone issues, whatever. Given the 7 billion folks walking around there must be a few million embryos down the drain every day, by nature with no human cause. Clearly nature (god?) has little regard for any one embryo; why should man need to follow a stricter standard?

But if you really believe that each and every one of these embryos is an innocent life that needs to be protected, figure out how to collect them and build machines to bring them to term. Then figure out how to feed and house them.

Ridiculous, of course, as is your insistence that every embryo needs to be saved.

You accuse Hillary of wanting to reduce the power of the courts and increase that of the legislature, but isn't it the FRC which complains that the courts frequently overrule the legislature on abortion, gay marriage, the establishment clause, broadcast profanity regulation and obscenity law?

She will be influential in forcing Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) legislation that will, with a stroke of the President's pen, turn back all progress in protecting innocent life.

Your perspective is all wrong. The grand course of human history is continuing improvements in personal liberty, freedom and the right to privacy. There is no better demonstration than the rapid expansion of women's rights over the last fifty years.

Nothing in this procession of improved rights forces anyone to do anything. But it also prevents folks from stopping others in their personal pursuits. It has been determined that abortion is a right, yes a RIGHT, of any woman in the first trimester and later under some conditions. Yet the religious right, oblivious to the definition and meaning of DEMOCRACY, persists in trying to stop people from exercising their legal rights.

We have now ended the bush theocracy grandstand. He is history as one of the worst presidents ever. And we have President Elect Obama who will do what it takes to eliminate the Bush legacy and restore the hard-won rights to american women.
