It's one of the reasons I'm working for Cindy Sheehan - no Republican can get elected in a local SF election - so what's my best choice? Cindy. If I can help her get elected, there is no downside: we overthrow the House Speaker, and replace her with the most junior member of the CA house delegation who has no credentials..... and I trust in the nuttiness of SF politics; Sheehan has a shot. I know if you're in Council Bluffs Iowa, you can't believe it, but I've been observing SF for nearly 50 years and they bear no relation to any other part of this county (well maybe Manhattan).
