Congressional Approval Falls to Single Digits for First Time Ever

Tuesday, July 08, 2008

The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.

Last month, 11% of voters gave the legislature good or excellent ratings. Congress has not received higher than a 15% approval rating since the beginning of 2008.

I think Congress needs to get in touch with the American people, the real America’s who have been born in this country who do not want to be given everything and who do not want everything we have worked our whole lives for given to people who dont’ want to work and only want to get on the gravy train!! Our troops are on the other side of the world fighting for our freedom to speak English, to have a great, free country and they don’t even have descent equipment to fight with. What is wrong with you?! Take away from those people who are given everything and send our troops what they need, RESTORE our freedoms and SUPPORT our religous freedom in our communities.
Wake up before it is too late. We are tired of being the unheard and uncared about Americans. Talk about a tea party if things keep going there will be one someday. I don’t know whether I want to be around to see it or not. But Americans are very strong and resilent people and I know they will only tolerate so much of what is going on in our country. I am ashamed of our Congress and Senate when they tolerate unAmerican behavior.
Shame on YOU!!!!

The biggest mistake we ever made was when we air conditioned the offices of the Senate and Congress. They used to hurry and get out of there, now they just hang around. What happened to our statesmen?!?!
