		<description>&quot;Mr. Armey&#039;s disregard for the importance of families is shocking.&quot;

Mr. Perkins&#039; disregard for the possibility that one can oppose the creation of a &quot;Family Czar&quot; and still believe in &quot;the importance of families&quot; is shocking.

&quot;Unfortunately, President Clinton rescinded the executive order when he took office.&quot;

Fortunately, President Clinton rescinded this vague and subjective executive order when he took office.

&quot;Calling on government to consider the impact of its proposals on the family whether it is the strength of the marital commitment,...&quot;

Ugh, more of the marriage=family conflation. Do people like Mr. Perkins who make these kind of connections not realize that some married couples will decide not to have children, and that, conversely, some couples with children (in other words, a family) will decide not to get married?

&quot;the rights of parents to raise their children as they see fit,...&quot;

Parents shouldn&#039;t have rights to &quot;raise their children as they see fit&quot; if such &quot;raising&quot; involves violating the law.
