Today's Washington Times contains a "must read" op-ed. Professors Gerald R. McDermott (Roanoke College) and Carol M. Swain (Vanderbilt) give a well-developed argument for defunding Planned Parenthood based on "disturbing realities" about the way that organization conducts its business.
Here is their concluding paragraph: "One must wonder, then, whether taxpayers should continue to support an organization that is flush with money, has been willing to skirt or ignore laws intended to protect the people it claims to serve and may be targeting minorities with a practice many Americans believe immoral."
Also, much praise to the Washington Times editorial page for publishing this excellent piece.

By God's grace our generation was saved from such a horrible thing as legalizing abortion. I have read many articles about the effects of abortion on women, depression, alcoholism, suicide and various physical problems associated with abortions. When is it going to stop?

Will God judge, or is He judging now, our country for all the life's that have been taken through abortion.
God Help Us.

Re: My children are asking why I am funding this "Planned Parenthood" organization?
Dear Representative,
My children, after reading this article and seeing it on TV, are asking why I am funding this "Planned Parenthood" organization with the money I recently sent to the IRS and are concerned I may have to answer to God for doing so.
Please reply to my home address above with a your helpful response that I may use to explain it to them?
"Planned Parenthood's facade as a compassionate, women's health advocate continues to crumble. Lila Rose, the UCLA student who released recordings of Planned Parenthood employees expressing "excitement" over racially-motivated donations, has new proof of the organization's deep-seated bigotry.
This time, fellow student James O'Keefe called clinics in Oklahoma and New Mexico asking to make a donation specifically for the abortion of a black baby. After railing on about his disgust with affirmative action and the need "for less black people," he was told by Irene Grey of Planned Parenthood, Albuquerque, "Yes, yes, it's a strange time to be sure."
Over in Tulsa, the response was no different. In this instance, Planned Parenthood employee Susan Riggs said, "We can definitely designate [a gift] for an African-American" when asked whether his money would be earmarked for the abortion of a black baby."
Because you have failed to respond to my previous contact I feel it necessary to send a copy to the editors of our local newspaper.
Expecting a reply.
