Yesterday in the Washington Update I wrote about the fact that Republican voters, including evangelicals, are distributing their votes among three leading candidates – Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, and John McCain – handing them victories at the ballot box in the hope that one or more of the GOP candidates will fully embrace all three parts of the conservative coalition – social, economic, and defense.
On the eve of the voting in South Carolina, the race may be wide open, but the base is not wide open about its agenda for unity. Not everyone is sounding this theme. Yesterday the economic conservative Club for Growth assembled a team led by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey that crisscrossed the Palmetto State attacking Mick Huckabee as, in Armey’s words, a “misguided populist.”
The candidates themselves seem to be trying harder to generate unity. Huckabee used a speech in Tigerville, South Carolina, to emphasize his nine-point immigration plan that one anti-illegal immigration group hailed as “the strongest no-amnesty, attrition plan of any of the candidates.”
McCain took the opportunity to personally address the sanctity of life in Greenville, South Carolina, saying, "I’m proud of my pro-life record in 24 years in the United States Congress . . . and I believe that some of the most sacred words ever uttered were that all of us were created equal ... and that applies to the unborn as well as the born.” He also said that the best way to protect the family and the unborn is "to appoint judges who strictly interpret the Constitution,” and that he would "nominate the closest thing to a clone of (Chief) Justice John Roberts as I can find."
Romney for his part has actually carried a three-legged stool with him to campaign stops for months, citing the need for family values to be an integral component of a conservative message. He is dividing time between South Carolina and Nevada, which holds caucuses of its own this Saturday.
Finally, Fred Thompson, for whom South Carolina may prove to be a breakwater or a backbreaker, hit all the coalition themes, denouncing budget excess, saying, "We're spending ourselves into oblivion,” asserting his dedication to the sanctity of human life, and even plastering “unity” on his campaign posters.
To a remarkable degree, the messages of these four candidates are now converging.

If Huckabee's so into unity, why doesn't he take a stronger stand against his push-polling allies?

Ron Paul has defended life, including the unborn, liberty and personal & economic freedom more than anyone currently in the race. He has my family and my full support till the end.

It is cold comfort to hear of improvements in "talk" from these candidates. Each has a long record which is far more revealing of their true inclinations than stump speeches. Consider Huckabee's record on immigration, high tax and spend goverment, and naive pardons of dangerous criminals or McCain's on immigration amnesty, restrictions on free political speech (such as the speech of pro-life organizations before elections), and his role in the "gang of 14" which blocked efforts to stop Democrat filibusters of conservative judges. One could go on but these few facts alone ought to be completely disqualifying for both these men for conservative voters in South Carolina.

Senator Thompson is the only candidate with a consistent conservative record. I'm not putting a new convert in charge of our Sunday School, and I don't want a President who fought in favor of illegal immigration just a few short months ago. I certainly don't want someone who pledged undying support for "a woman's right to choose" in his last campaign, nor a loose cannon who helped block some of the best conservative judges appointed by the President.

I feel FRC Action is one of the most God honoring organizations in today’s “Christian World”. For this reason, I find it hard to understand why a man of God like Governor Huckabee does not receive open support from this organization and other Christian groups. I realize all of the candidates have their strengths and weaknesses, but it so apparent that Governor Huckabee is authentic and genuine as well that he has his priorities right. God is first in his life. I do not see that in anyone else. Mike Huckabee gets my vote and my support! I pray many of you will join me in this vital decision.

Your article yesterday about the three legged stool while written in all good faith failed to recognize the fact that a three legged stool is very unstable and fails to reach very high. Perhaps it was in reply to my e-mail to you titled What's important to the voters. It sounded much like such. I have sent to your site my answer on the "three legged stool" approach and will share it here for the benefit of those who will not be privy to my reply. I would certainly hope that it makes the cut of the owners for a free expression of thoughts is what this country is founded upon.
A three legged stool or a ladder? Which would you choose to reach the top.
Rather than a three-legged stool, I prefer to think of the base as being a ladder. The ladder has two runners, legs, if you will—Honesty and Integrity? The ladder has rungs—steps for climbing upward. The three-legged stool, whether perched in the pit of an imaginary airplane or on the ground, is stationery and keeps one in the same position. Moving around on a three-legged stool can be hazardous. The ladder suggests movement in its very nature. The ladder can lean solidly upon the foundation and walls of the Constitution of the United States.
A three-legged stool, for any who have attempted to stand or sit on one, will prove to be wobbly and will easily tip over. Its legs are generally short, limiting one’s reach to higher places that is needed in this country.
The ladder has many rungs, and each is important. Each rung is the same size, the same width, and is firmly embedded in the two outer legs of the ladder. If the ladder has only one rung, the uprights will fall apart. All of the rungs are important to holding the ladder together. The ladder has many rungs for climbing to the high ground safely in upholding our U.S. Constitution, and a ladder is what is needed to climb out of the quagmire and muck that we are in presently. From all indications, we are sinking quickly. I would suggest that the candidates begin to express what the rungs in their ladders represent in terms of solutions to the multi-faceted problems this country faces, rather than attempting to stand on an unstable three-legged stool that stands for nothing and offers no real strength.
As I stated in my earlier e-mail to your organization (dated January 15) titled, “What’s Important to Voters?” there are many more problems that face this country than the ones the far right leg of the conservative wing of the GOP continually push as the prime problems. They are naming a few problems but are offering no real and long-lasting solutions.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith (mainstream America) are asking the questions and are expecting to hear more than the sound bites currently being offered. If the GOP does not wake up to this fact and find a candidate who is strong enough to put forth some solid answers to the questions, then prepare to face four, and probably eight, years of a Democrat controlled White House and Congress. And that will certainly prove that Armney was correct when he said the GOP had sold out to the religious right, for there is where they based their hope for victory in 2006 and were defeated.
Those who were defeated attempted to make the ladder reach the top with only one rung--religious conservatism. The ladder toppled out of short-sightedness.

In my opinion I think Mike Huckabee represents all three views (Social, Economic and Defense).
For Social values he said on "Meet the Press" that America can not have 50 interpretations of abortion just as Abraham Lincoln thought we couldn’t have 50 different interpretations of slavery back then. Both men are courageous enough to stand up to establishments and tell them we have to have one American law. In that we have to give these people freedom. All humans are equal, no matter the skin color or if they are standing on the earth or tucked away in the mother's womb. All humans should be treated very preciously. Mike is the only one courageous enough to take on Roe vs. Wade to overturn it and stop the gruesome pratice of taking away 50,000,000 innocent life's so far. That's more than all the diseses, accidents and war deaths combined.
For Economic stance, Mike has been courageous in this area too by recommending America scrap its red tape bureaucracy of the IRS income tax and switch to a Fair Tax. Sales tax makes sense as it accomplishes several things. One is that it taxes American's on things that they purchase. This will keep American's from running up their credit cards and spending frivously. Secondly, it will force government officials to run the government lean as many successful companies are doing in the free market today. And thirdly, it will be Fair in that it will allow those at the lower income scale to use more of their income to pay for the necessities like food, water and shelter.
Mike is also pushing for change to alternative fuels in not 30 years, but in 8 years. That push will drive down oil prices like a rock in the interim while it is actively being pushed to be developed in America. This will stimulate the market from going into a recession. And once we are changed over to alternative fuels, America can fuel itself instead of depending on countries that support terrorism. Along with the fact we can make this precious planet we have more green as it was given to us.
And lastly Defense, Mike has proven to be a very effective public speaker as Ronald Reagan was. Mike Huckabee's ability to communicate effectively will go a long way in negotiating with world leaders to shore up support to fight the war on terrorism. As the old saying goes, one horse can pull 6,000 pounds but two horses can pull 36,000 pounds. That's a factor of six times more force with only double the amount of people. Mike's superb ability to communicate effectively with hope and optimism will bond world leaders together creating one horse (America) to many horses (Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, China, Egypt, etc) that will increase the force and teamwork to crush the evil terrorist in this world. And with continuation from the previous paragraph, the drive to go to alternative fuels will create shockwaves in the middle east countries to crack down on terrorism as they know America is serious this time to change to alternative fuels and in one part that is driven by terrorist controlling our finacial markets through oil rich nations.
So that's why I think, Mike Huckabee has all three parts of the conservation coalition. If Abraham Lincoln was running today, many of the naysayers would think he is Mike Huckabee. Lincoln rose above the establishments to create good change for America as Mike Huckabee mirror's his qualities. Lincoln is known as one of the best president's in U.S. History and so will Mike Huckabee.
Mike Huckabee comes to the American people with Hope, Optimisim, Charisma, Humbleness and Trustworthy qualities. Mike is creating a new American spirit to take us to higher ground.
Mike Huckabee has my vote and I sure hope you vote for him too. America needs another Abraham Lincoln to take us to higher ground.

Sounds like a conjunction of the planets - something interesting to talk about, transient, and fundamentally meaningless.
Maybe McCain (or Romney) will 'change his mind' about abortion (again)?
Maybe Huckabee change his mind about a 'hiatus' on immigration from nations that harbor terrorists (again)?
Round and round they go. Now you see alignment, now you don't.

We as Christians already have a Lord (President) and Savior. He was elected for us by God the Father, and proven authentic by the Resurrection. I think that we in America are at a disadvantage thinking that these humans we elect are somehow going to save us. Jesus IS Lord is the true Gospel of the Kingdom that is rarely preached as such. What is the Gospel: "All authority has already been given to me in heaven and on earth." That's the Gospel of the Kingdom that must be preached before Jesus comes. We need to get onto that and off of campaigning for this or that human being, who will disappoint us in the end because they are not the God designated Savior and Lord. Only Jesus fills that bill.

How can McCain be pro-life and also support embryonic stem cell research?? He has (according to the rnclife FaxNotes Jan. 16, 2008)voted to extend federal funding for such experiments. It also says he supports abortion for rape and incest victims. I would sure like some clarification on this. Thanks

Dick Armey is the misguided populist, he wants wants to attack a man you will rid us of the graduated income tax, which is the very foundation of which all humanism rests. The graduated income tax is in both the Soviet Constitution and the American Populist Party platform. Club for Slow Growth and Republican Establishment are fighting for to maintain their jobs as better managers of socialism then the Demomcrats. Huckabee is thinking inside the Bible and outside the Box of Socialism, what is Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity and the FRC Doing? The is one Mediator between man and God, and it ain't the Federal Government.

I believe Huckabee and McCain are closer to the belief in God,Family and the values that most conservatives hold.
I believe that someone that is not ashamed and will risk their chance for the position of president to express and stay with their belief in God will be the most trust worthy, because when your faith is what makes your character, to the point your never ashamed of it and will express it freely, that person knows, even if no one else would never know, if you did something wrong, they know they have to answer to God, that keeps a person honest. And I'm not talking about someone that just says they believe. But has lived their faith and belief.
I believe Huckabee has proven that. And I will never believe that he would ever be part of any dirty tricks that Fred Thompson has accused him of. Mike Huckabee has no reason to even to that since he has always stayed way ahead of Thompson.
When Thompson attacked Huckabee in the S.C. debate
he brought up Huckabee wanted to close Gitmo, the next few days it came out in the news, that Adm.Mike Mullen, Defense Secretary Of State Robert Gates and President Bush said they wanted to shut down Gitmo,
Fred Thompson went on TV just the next day and Accused Mike Huckabee of attacking him and McCain, Mike Huckabee has always stated he respected McCain and I think Fred Thompson wanted to drive a wedge between them and now this push-polling. Could Thompson actually be behind these dirty tricks and blaming Huckabee!
My guess is that Thompson would do something like this.

It seems that everywhere I turn, The only republican candidates mentioned are the "big three" (Romney, McCain and Huckabee)and maybe Thompson. All of whom either belong to or have been tapped by the Council on Foreign Relations. This makes each one of them puppets of those who control the leadership of the world. And Bloomberg is one of them as well! I'm a bit confused as to why even those in the alleged Christian community/values voters groups would want this country to go down the global toilet because of simple over-zealous, short-sightedness.
If we truly are to preserve freedom, we must logically deduct that freedom is a two edged sword. If you deem that only your viewpoint is to be accepted at the expense of another's, that is tyranny. And it doesn't matter what group gets "control". As a believer, I recognize this. We have simply gotten way off track and missed the mark when it comes to those freedoms. Quite frankly, I believe that the media as a whole, secular and Christian, are distracting the electorate and deliberately hiding the truth about the candidates.
People simply need to get their heads out of "the tube" and take a look at the real reality of what's going on. There are plenty of videos to help since reading seems to take too long. "Fiat Empire" (with G. Edward Griffin), "America: Freedom to Fascism" (by the late Aaron Russo) and "Endgame" (by Alex Jones) are a few, easy to understand videos to start with. In 1946, Ayn Rand penned "Textbook of Americanism", which gives a powerful explanation of what we had at one time in this country.
Once a person has a basic understanding of what is going on at the base level of government, then and only then, can they make a truly informed decision about who they are voting for. I believe that FRC is doing a great disservice to their followers and supporters by not digging for the true backgrounds and alliances on ALL of the candidates. Especially those that are "front-runners".
Almost everybody missed the fact that G.W. Bush belonged to the secretive Skull & Bones group and the his Grandfather laundered money for and funded Hitler. Had I known this, I would have NEVER voted for him, in the primaries or the general elections! He has also been quoted saying that: “... the Constitution is just a G**D**m piece of paper.” Do we want, or worse, NEED more of that kind of attitude in the White House?
If we are to truly “save” this country, we must first get people into office who will actually uphold AND defend the Constitution. Not just give lip service to it. For the months of research I have personally done, there is only one candidate that will uphold AND defend the Constitution. Will restore the civil liberties that has been unlawfully stripped from us by this administration. And put the politicians and bureaucrats on notice. He is the only candidate who is not attacking or smearing the others. He states what he believes both politically and individually, and notes the difference of when his personal beliefs differ from his political ones. I think most are smart enough to figure it out. Yes, it's Dr. Ron Paul. I will vote for him in the primary and, if need be, write him in this fall. The Word tells us that it is our obligation to put righteous people into office. Dr. Paul is the only one who comes even lose to fitting that bill.
So if this does manage to get posted, it would be my hope that people would take their heads out of the sand just long enough to take a brief bit of time to check out each candidate for themselves as I did. Even to the point of researching the items listed above. And if this information keeps this from being posted, I'll continue to receive your reports so I can keep track of the hypocrisy and check to see if there are any ties between FRC and the CFR or Trilateral Commission.
Thank you for your time.

Again, this article leaves out the 2 time campaign funding, record holder. Who just happens to be the militarys favorite, is a veteran and a Doctor, named by a well known conservative author; the only guy in the republican field who is the closet to Ronald Reagan, etc..
Oh by the way, he has beaten Thompson and Giuliani twice each, in the primaries.
He has $20 million while Giuliani has to lay off his staff (due to low funds), yet this mans funds continue to grow, daily.
What makes Giuliani one of the front runners, he can't even raise enough money to keep staffers, while also losing in 2 primaries, to the only candidate left in the Republican Field that isn't a front runner?
Yet this non front runner has $20 million plus, from grass roots efforts, etc..
Oh I get it, this is where the problem is, from the American people, those grass rooters who are making their voices heard.
The big corporate, global, lobbiest, (etc..Ruppert Murdock) must be getting a bit nervous that the middle class, hard working Americans are speaking. Humm funny how that works.
To be, or not to be (honest). That is the question. We all know the answer don't we?
Big Business, Big Government, Big Lobbiest are all supporting and backing "the front running candidates", but not the only "non-viable candidate". Funny how that works.
Funny, the American people are chosing this man, while big business, global lobbiest are chosing the others, and yet, how shocking, the Peoples choice is being ignored, disrespected, and made fun of.
Yes, this is the same Republican who has served in Congress for the past decade, yet he was never crazy or a kook then was he?
LISTEN AMERICA, WE GET WHO WE CHOSE, SO CHOSE CAREFULLY. That is if the votes aren't rigged.

The very topic that will decide the elections for America is the economy so it looks. I work in my own business everyday and may I say that nobody has address the Energy Source as the number one crippling aspect of our economy slow down...? Please drill anywhere to have independence in our energy source. Until no alternative has come to the President's Desk, we MUST bring down the price of energy. It does not take a PHD to figure this one. Using energy given by God in a GODLY manner it will surely last and fill all our needs. No mention of this is made in any economic analysis, not in radio nor on TV. There is something or appear suspicious to have President Bush go to the Middle East and bring no positive results home. Americans are not as stupid as many intellectuals may think. They keep their money home where it belongs. If we live well in a Godly manner, God will gives us an envious status before the world. People will wonder how can we do this..? They will find God in our actions not in our tongues. Then and only then we will be credible.
May God Bless America

I agree that some of the candidates are trying to emphasize the three legs of social, defense, and fiscal conservatism. But Huckabee continues to scare businesspeople--one of the most important GOP constituencies--with his anti-corporate rhetoric. Mitt has confessed his sins against social conservatism, and McCain is now beating a tax-cutting drum, unlike in 2000. Unless Huckabee wants to join the real world and admit that corporations are the engines of wealth creation that make our comfortable lives possible, I'm not interested in hearing what else he has to say.

I guess I feel like there are realy only three contenders for the nomination, Huckabee, Romney and McCain. There are things about all three that I disagree with so I have to go with the most socialy conservative which I feel is Huckabee. I am not thrilled with how he has handeled Ilegals in the past or some of his tax increases or even his thoughts on compassion at times. But, are all these issues that I disagree with worth voting for someone else that has in the past been pro-choice, or pro homosexual marriage or voted for sanctuary cities and amnesties for illegals? I dont think so. Although there are things I dont like, Huckabee is the most socialy conservative and I believe those issues are more important to protect right now than some of the others.

Why is it that there are so few Christians who have the courage or intellectual integrity to give someone like Ron Paul a fair hearing? We are only in the primaries - how are we to claim a bold stance on God's principles when we are so quick to be pragmatic at an early hour? Now, certainly, a single issue can DISqualify a candidate completely; a pro-abortion stance makes you unfit for public office no matter what other credentials you hold. Yet proper stance on a single issue should NOT give you the automatic rubber-stamp of Christian approval. Fortunately we have the choice between a few pro-life, pro-family candidates...but that does not mean we blindly rally behind their flags without looking at the REST of their ideology. The thinly veiled socialism of Huckabee and others has not been sufficiently considered through a biblical lens. If we do not elect men to office who understand the limits of their office and have a solid commitment to the principles of the Constitution, our republic will continue to fall toward tyrrany.

I think you will find BOR column interesting everyone!!: BOR>>>"PARTY ON"
I just told my husband two days ago that it is a safebet, OBAMA will run on ticket as VP w/Hillary R. Clinton, because as BOR states, OBAMA has come to far to be dismissed by the Democratic Party. When that happens you can bet you want his contender to be Sen. John McCain, In truth I would rather see Fred Thompson win over Giuliani, we can agree on that!! I hardly ever disagree with Ann Coulter, but I thought how respectful Sen. McCain is at the debates, and during the last debate he complimented all of the Candidates in the run for the White House.
And Ann Coulter is a passionate value's leader who is forceful and the best boxing contender we have against the mud-slinging dems, (Dems can dish it out)Ann had the PUNCH ready, but Ann Coulters call on a war hero Veteran (POW) Sen. John McCain in "Elephant in a Room" was tactless, for this very bright woman, who could have wrote eloquently about her grievance with Sen. John McCain, to attack him thusly, well Ann Coulter can be ruthless, but let's don't turn on each other! Republican Party.

Romney is truly the only three legged conservative in this race. This has been his position for many months. The others are truly having only deathbed conversions on a whole host of issues. Romney changed his view on "only one" position (not the 'many' the liberal press and the DNC would lead you to believe). Even that was not a personal belief change but on goverments role in enforcing such a belief. Romeny truly is the real deal. However the press and the DNC have been scared of him from the beginning and have sought to divide the coalition from supporting him and to weaken us (you know the saying- divided we fall). Ann Coulter wrote an article on this in Townhall.com about this.
Huckabee is a Jimmy Carter in republican clothing. He is far more liberal than many are aware. He also does not have what it takes to win the general election. McCain is not the choice of any true conservatives as we all know for a miraiad of things. He is not trustrworthy on a whole host so social and economic issues. If Huckabee would do the nation a favor and quit the race instead of divide the vote, and hand the nomination to McCain, Romney would surely win and save the coalition from crumbing into dissarray. The alternative is for people to realize that a vote for Huckabee is to divide us all and give the nomination to McCain or loose the presidency altogether. Either would bring heartahe to all of us. Please Vote for Romney and ignore Huckabee as we can't afford not to. Especially if we want to have a repbulican in the White house in Jan 2009.

It seems to me, Michigan bought into Mitt Romney's "ECONOMY" soundbite.
Before 9/11/01, American's slept at the wheel in regard to politics, I was one of those people.
When we were attacked, I simply realized how close to home the terrorist's are.
And the question of WHY?...never cease. Did I become Homeland Security grandmother? as Sean Hannity calls us?(the media loves to tag a name)
I became aware. Aware that politics plays closer in our lives than we knew.
That we surely do have a responsibility as citizen's in every aspects of this land, this freedom, this great "FREE" country.
So if we fight politically to preserve it, I never cared for politics, but took a stand. If I speak up or out...it isn't only for the unborn, for the vunerable, but it is for a country that doesn't realize these freedoms beyond our responsibility to keep.....will be gone in a cloud as flight 93 found out when they became the first American's to fight terrorist's on American soil..for them I will to stand. And on that plane stood Americans as a TEAM , they would have been my brother and sister on that plane, they are my brother and sister in America. So on "ECONOMY" Mitt Romney we began to attack the "illegal" immigrant's...which in all truth Homeland Security must ID everyone in this country, but on "ECONOMY" Mitt Romney you forget how the farmworker's made our #1 in ECONOMICS..

I predict after South Carolina he's done.

What I am interested in is what do these President wannabes plan to do about the two innocent border guards who have been unjustly locked up for one year? Ramos and Compean were arrested and sent to prison after shooting an illegal drug smuggler in the butt. The culprit had refused to cooperate and even attempted to run them over before he had been accidentally shot. DA Sutton diliberately withheld evidense and even made a deal with the illegal alien; plus he returned all his dope which the srug smuggler managed to bring into the United States with a GREEN CARD issued to him by the DA. The drug smuggler was granted a free American tax payer funded operation of which he postponed so he could smuggle more drugs into our country. Meanwhile, two United States border guards have been wasting away behind bars while this DOPE HEAD continues to legally invade our land with drugs with a generous invitation from the Texas DA!
If you think that's bad, there have been Mexican drug lords, Central American mob figures, and even Mexican police crossing our southern border disregarding our sancturary and our national security in order to do their own illegal business! Congress promised us a WALL but they "LIED!" To make matters worst, if border guards stop invaders, they are the ones who end up getting arrested and sent to prison. Criminals and MexicaN OFFICIALS CAN CROSS INTO OUR COUNTRY WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. Should this continue? If they don't cross by land, they dig tunnels and come under the border. We not only need a wall but we need a better security system to protect our southern border from invasion! I wish we didn't need a Wall and I would rather have an open border like we have with Canada but experience has taught us that we need one.
Too bad our border guards can't be trained in the Martial Arts so they can fight like Walker, Texas Ranger. You never saw Walker shoot anyone in the butt because he never got into that situation. he used Karate as a means of self defense and he always kept a level head regardless of how much stress he was under. Knowing DA Sutton, he would find a way to even prosecute Walker for violating the worst currupt and dangerous blood thirsty criminal's Civil Rights. Thanks to Sutton, the guilty go free while the innocent get jailed!
So, I wonder what our Republican Candifatea, especially Mike Huckabee who happens to be supported by Chuck Norris, aka. Walker, Texas Ranger, plans to do about these two innocent border guards and our southern border.
I would also like to know where these candidates stand in regards to toys and other products made in China. What ever happened to "MADE IN THE USA?" China doesn't follow our safety guidelines and this could be one reason why items cost less to make. Not only do they have led, but they are often recalled due to safety violations. They don't last very long because they are less quality. Companies like Wal-Mart love China because labor is cheap and they refuse to accept the logic that states, "You get what you paid for!" Of course, prices are low to them but we, the American consumer, still have to keep paying higher prices at the stores.
I challenge the Republican Candidates to look into this situation and push for returning items "MADE IN AMERICA." We make things better because we do not take shortcuts when it comes to safety and we make things to last! Besides, everytime an American corporation closes up shop
and moves its factory to Mexico or China, it puts countless Americans out of work! Americans need jobs to earn money so we can make a living, pay our bills, pay our taxes, and afford the products.
The only reason why companies move to China or Mexico is because they enjoy slave labor! How do these candidates plan to deal with this issue?
Don't negotiate with terrorists to the point where you give in. The PLO has a history of murdering innocent unarmed civilians via bombings, shootings, and other means that stretch back over decades. They have sworn countless times they have only one purpose and that is to destroy Israel. They are not the only ones. Giving them or any other group part of Jerusalem is just providing a launching pad for terrorism. I am upset at Pres. Bush because i expected him to never give in and his support of a PLO state is simply doing just that.
What about innocent people? Why must criminals be given rights after they commit murder? Our prisons are filled with murderers who are serving life in prison or who have been judged insane. What about the victim and their family? Didn't they have any rights? Whjat better right is there than the right to live? People protest when a convicted killer is about to be executed but seldom do people copme to the aid of a victim. It amazes me at how unforgiving a driver is after their car has been hit, but this same person demands a convicted murderer should be forgiven. It makes me wonder if an automobile, that can be repaired and replaced, is valued more than a human life.
Then again, we live in a society where Liberals deny human beings life until they have been delivered unless they are victims of partial birth abortion. A cold blooded murderer has more rights (the RIGHT TO LIVE) than an innocent child inside the womb!
Thank you.

What I am interested in is what do these President wannabes plan to do about the two innocent border guards who have been unjustly locked up for one year? I couldn't agree more! The union of economic, security and social conservatives is essential both to a Republican victory and a truly republican (note the lowercase 'r') government. Should the GOP fail to nominate a consensus conservative they will either (1) lose the election and the people or (2) win the election and then lose the people by governing contrary to America's core values. Our goal must always be good government through a restoration of American republicanism in the home, in the workplace and in the halls of government.

I would like to see the candidates state their position on the mortgage boondoggle, and tell how, why, by whom and what they intend to do about it other than gouge the taxpayers to cover the outright theft by these greedy ones. I am very concerned that greedy ceo's and other sleaze such as these are allowed to pull off these schemes with the knowledge of the SEC, and Alan Greenspan and get by with it.
I would also like to hear their position on the NAFTA highway, and the fact that the activity of the armed Mexicans escorting thugs across our border has been kept secret, and not dealt with in the news or by the legislative body.
I would also like to hear how they plan to stop the escalation of the country's deficit.
Thanks,

The same same woman who started the abortion movement here in America did the same thing for Adolf Hitler in NAZI GERMANY. Her name was Margret Sanger and she believed in Hitler's goal for creating a MASTER RACE. Her purpose for abortion was to eliminate inferior races; namely Jews, Blacks, Orientals, Native Americans, etc.
The NAZIS were driven by the so called science of Evolution and its doctrine of Survival Among The fittest. Genocide meant nothing to them because those they were slaughtering were considered inhuman. The Communists under Stalin did the same thing and so did Communist China. Abortionists use the same excuse for murdering millions of human babies inside the womb by committing GENOCIDE against them. The only difference is, Planned Parenthood is being funded by the American tax payer. I honestly can't help but wonder if the United Staters and the other Allies really won the Second World War.

Yes , Yes , they all start to sound the same after a while. There is only one who has a hand book of rules, is guided by it, and acually knows whats in it. And isn't afraid to say so like ALL of the other pres. candidates. His name is Mike Huckabee. He's our man! Romney, mccain giuliani and thompson do not support human life amendment. Now heres an oxymoran, Romney says he supports fed. marriage amendment, but does't oppose gay pride celebrations(parades). And of course we have moral education, Romney does NOT support it. He is not opposed to homosexual curriculum.Romney does not oppose laws that favor FORCING business's to favor, or cater to homoseuality. When your not guided by the hand book of rules the auther of life gave us, you don't have the nessesary tools to follow through 100% of the time! Faith without works, is DEAD!

Why do you marginalize Ron Paul? He is the only conservative candidate (read Cal Thomas). McCain has a history of going against conservative principles. He is a traitor and warmonger. Do you want your daughters to be drafted? Huck is a Jimmy Carter GOP. Romney is a flip flopper and can't be trusted. Why vote for someone who believes Satan was a brother of Jesus? McCain, Romney and Huck are all big government Republicans.
Talking pro life, why don't you support Paul's Sanctity of Life Bill to overturn Roe and go back to the states? Congress can overturn rogue judges. An amendment to the Constitution is nearly impossible. When was the last time? 80 years ago? Paul's bill has a much easier chance than the Constitutional amendment.

Why Christians need a voting guide because we do not trust a Christian candidate with pastor background? Can't we discern?
Do we stumble by so called Christian Jimmy Carter? If we see the fruit we see the tree.
Are we shocked by George Bush's dividing Jerusalem? He is surrounded by Christians who follow so called church traditional “Replacement Theology”.
Mike Huckabee is not perfect, but he is the only candidate whom we can call him brother Huckabee.

After today's vote in SC and Nevada it shows clearly that you are still beating a very tired horse to death.
The majority of Americans, Mr and Mrs Smith, USA are not concerned with the "value wedge" issues. They are as I have stated before in my e-mails to you in the real issues that face this country. When will you get the message.
This is what Mr. and Mrs Smith had to say as they left the polls today.
No matter the state, the economy was the top issue in all three races on the ballot.
Republicans in Nevada and South Carolina cited immigration as their second most-important concern. Among Democrats in Nevada, health care was the second most-important issue followed by the Iraq war, which has dominated the race for months.
That is Mr. and Mrs Smith, USA , not just religious conservatives speaking. It's time to learn to listen to all of the people and not just one group.

Ron Paul is still in the running with his fabulous followers working diligently and raising tremedous funds. Paul is a true tested conservative with no negatives. He gives God the credit and with God's input the results should be memorable.

I can't believe how pro-Romney FRC is considering the fact that Mitt has flip flopped on abortion about 4 times. He is pro-life or pro-choice depending on where he is running for office. he ran as pro-choice in Mass since it's a liberal state and now he is pro-life? The man exploits abortion for votes and FRC loves him. He also helped institute gay marriage in Mass and had a very liberal record. The man is so unethical--he will say or do anything to get elected.
The Club for Growth attack on Huckabee was financed by Mitt Rommey, big-money friends. They contributed $750,000 to Club for Growth so they would go after Huckabee and distort his record.
I can't believe you call yourselves Christians when you have sold your souls to Mitt Romney and his evil tactics.

I'm not sure I'm believing what I'm reading here. Tony Perkins wants us to unite as Evangelicals when Tony Perkins is partially responsible for the division that he sees? Who would Tony Perkins suggest we vote for? Mitt Romney? His clear and decisive winner of the Value's Voter's conference in DC - when Huckabee was the clear favorite among those who attended. Would Tony Perkins have us support John McCain who's McCain/Feingold bill is responsible for his voter guides to be shut down and his endorsements and 1st Ammendment rights squelched? Or is he NOW finally trying to unify us all behind Huckabee in this very late hour in the campaign which much needed delegate territory has been lost? I think FRC and Tony Perkins owes Evangelicals and Mike Huckabee's campaign a heart felt appology and public endorsement - that is if they do not fear losing Mormon Money. Evangelical Leadership in this election has been very very poor and embarrassing to be a part of. The clear candidate has always been and still remains Mike Huckabee for those who vote their concsience and family values. Those with political agenda's made their choices early on. Time To Pay the Piper Perkins.

IF I HEAR the word "TIMETABLE" again I'll SCREAM. Media is focused only on the Romney/McCain Cat fight
They need to leave the gossip behind and focus on the issues.
Huckabee clearly Showed he's presidential material. He was Clear, Concise, Witty, Informative. He has 40 delegates and only needs a state or two to move back into first place. CNN and MSNBC and Fox Snubbed Huckabee again....Is the Media swaying your vote? Do they speak for you? They do not speak for me!
HUCKABIANS DO NOT SELL OUT YOUR VOTE!

Feel free to edit the following:
Why are we willing to continually deplete our tax dollars to stay in the middle of a civil war? Do we really believe this ‘fight them there so we don’t fight them here’ nonsense, as if our enemies couldn’t and aren’t already trying both?
Isn’t our military overextended now when they could be heavily securing our borders?
We need to remember that big business will not benefit by ending this terrible war, as lobbyists and Wall Street persuade the conservative voters in these United States of a need to keep the war machine well oiled and driving forward, giving billions to corporate war profiteers.
It is time that conservative voters follow their Christian principles, those of the 'prince of peace'. One cannot be both ‘pro-life’ and ‘pro-war’, and wars of attrition should be approached only after all other strategies have failed. It is time that we again took the moral high ground in the free world by conducting business without bloodshed. The fight for peace must be fought for simultaneously and just as aggressively as this one that we must come out from under.
When politicians play the fear card, there is nothing patriotic about our response in choosing brawn over brains. We need our counterterrorism efforts to be of the highest order, and we do not need them to become corrupted and commingled with war profiteering and nation building. Come November we had better prepare to select the next president by their true capacity to put God and country first. Appearances alone simply erect another Don Quixote that leads us astray.
