I would suggest that Patricia, as well as all of us, look at the actual voting record (s) and not just rely on the speech retoric by any of the candidates, even Mr. McCain. You will see that they don't always line up.

Thanks for posting the messages! As I read Governor Huckabee's speech again, I once again was moved to near tears of our obligation to follow Christ in the political arena. My fervent prayer is that Govenor Huckabee would be our next president.

I thought Huckabee shined. I know it's early but I think he's got my vote. Jinnee Parr

I really like Huckabee too, and his speech was fabulous. But consider VERY carefully people...a vote for Huckabee is a vote for Giuliani. We have just as much of a duty to do what is right for God's country, as we do to ourselves. Rudy is essentially a liberal (read the above blog story about him). There IS another canditdate in the race that shares our values, and lives them daily. And he would have a very good chance of winning a general election. Choose very wisely...this is a CRUCIAL time for our Nation, and our World. 'PLEASE' don't elect Hillary!

I've seen the speech by Giuliani and been reading the transcripts of others.
We should elect someone capable of changing the country from starting wars like in Vietnam, Grenada, and now Iraq to using the government's resources to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole world as Jesus requires before the end will come. Someone who will recenter America on the Creator and go further to fulfill His will to make this a Christian nation as a testimony to all nations, a step toward converting the world to Jesus.
I think the FRC should follow up with the candidates to ask if they will preach the gospel instead of war when given a choice, end public funding of abortions, and other critical questions since many of the candidates express deep ties to Christianity but don't go far enough to commit to changing America and the world for God's best.
