I've about had it with talk radio and the conservative media for trying to bury Huckabee as deep in the news as possible. I'm tired of having the 'top tier' shoved down my throat. I think if we stick together we'll win.

>Some of the posters on this thread better be careful about what they wish for. The Democratic candidate for president (whoever he/she turns out to be) can only dream about having to face Alan Keyes or Ron Paul in the presidential race. For the Democrat, Keyes or Paul as the Republican opponent would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Translation: Don't throw your vote away, vote for the lesser of two evils, don't rock the boat...yada yada yada

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, spilled my kool-aid all over it and now it is stained. Thanks, but no thanks.

I am not going to ask you why you excluded Ambassador Alan Keyes from the Washington Briefing, because it is painfully obvious as to why. This election is unique in many ways, one of which is that the grass roots finally has within their ability to nominate the candidate of their choice without the need to rely on organizations such as yourself.

My hope is that individuals pay close attention to the actions of committees this election cycle as many are becoming arrogant enough to show their hand as to their real agendas. I am very disappointed by your decision but I am glad that the grass roots are rising up in their own right to finally take back control of their destiny.

I will support, promote and vote for Ambassador Alan Keyes with or without your approval. In this election I *can* make a difference.

The after results were posted by the N.Y. Post who left Ron Paul out of the results, even though he won 3rd? Why would they do that. God bless all the candidates that are truly preserving our Christian values. I don't know who I'm voting for yet, but I like Huckabee. Ron Paul is a good candidate too, but why did the NY Post leave him out.
If I campaigned hard for president and I got 3rd on the poll, I'd be pretty angry if someone ignored my hard work and the people who are supporting me.

Huckabee=hypocrit
as a man of faith I fail to understand why a minister is advocating War - exactly where in the new testament does Jesus's say hunt them down and slay them where you find them??

Ignorant me -- I missed that part, unless Minister Huckabee has converted to a more modern prophet.

I have for some time been aware of the mainstream media's marketing of candidates of corporate America's choosing. However, I have been devastated to learn that many of my brothers and sisters in Christ have bought into it. The Presidential election is NOT a popularity contest, although that's what it has become. My eyes are open to that now. Get on your knees and ask God to show you his will and his way for our nation before it's too late. It is time to wake up. Before you go to the ballot, you owe it to yourself, your God, and your country to learn what we are really voting for. It is reprehensible to vote for anyone based on their chances to win. We should each vote our conscience and conviction. And that means doing a little leg work, researching each candidate's background. Have they practiced what they preach?

Go to <a href="http://usinfo.state.gov/usa/infousa/facts/funddocs/consteng.htm" rel="nofollow">http://usinfo.state.gov/usa/infousa/facts/funddocs/consteng.htm</a> and print out your own copy of the constitution and all amendments. You may be surprised by what you read. It is very easy to read and understand, and explicitly details the role of each branch of Govt. That is what our founding fathers intended - for 'we the people' to understand. They knew from experience what the dangers in Govt are and they handed us a clear map to success. But it is up to us to follow it.

I will be voting for Ron Paul, and I am grateful for his stand for our Constitution, which is for our protection. If it weren't for Dr. Paul I never would have known that I needed a history lesson, as do most Americans.

The first thing I googled is "federal reserve private bank". Did you know that "the fed" is NOT in any way controlled by the Govt. It IS a private bank. It is outright illegal and it says so right in the Constitution. Well, don't believe me, or anyone else.... GOOGLE it for yourself.

Anyone who looks this up and find that information to be false - email me.
Anyone who looks this up and finds that it is true AND finds another (pro-life, pro-family) candidate who has told America the TRUTH on this matter, besides Ron Paul - email me.
faithhopelovep91@yahoo.com

Anyone who looks this up and finds it to be truth and finds no better candidate than Ron Paul, TELL EVERYONE.

"The system of banking is a blot left in all our Constitutions, which, if not covered, will end in their destruction. I sincerely believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity is but swindling futurity on a large scale."
-Thomas Jefferson

Erin

PS If after this, you are still feel compelled to vote for someone only if they 'have a chance of winning', please know that the poll results you get on most news networks is false, altered, or otherwise inaccurate. I do not make those statements lightly. As of late, I only follow Ron Paul, and do so closely. The numbers have switched before my very eyes. I have heard the lies with my own ears. Ron Paul has won something like the last 5 debates polls. He also won at least 17 out of 35 straw polls, but you will not hear that on tv. He is the only one who lists all the republican straw polls on his website. Why?

Daniel & James, look a little closer and you will realize that the title of the first table "Total Straw Poll Results" means that it already includes the "Onsite Straw Poll Results". You don't need to add the numbers again they are already included.

Charles Mitchell from evangelicalsformitt.org explains his take on the poll numbers question even including a copy of the email sent out to everyone who registered for the conference.

Why was Dr. Alan Keyes excluded from this list? As a long time supporter of the Republican Party and what we say we stand for…this action is deplorable! He is an exceptionally viable candidate that brings to the platform; morality, upstanding ethics, unquestionable vigor for this country and our constitution, and the leadership traits we need for the forthcoming election! He is the ideal counter balance to the Democrats blathering front leaders and if we were ever fortunate enough to get head-to-head debates between Ambassador Keyes and Clinton or Obama, Dr. Alan Keyes would put the ridiculous claims of those two… to shame and in turn restore the lost confidence and give clear direction for “our” Republican Party. Please don’t censor our best hope in this election. Let Alan Keyes get the national coverage and attention he deserves!

A concerned Republican,
