		<description>Could I suggest that before investing so much time in prayer, there should first be an investigation into its effectivness.

I know of a few studies on prayer in a medical contact which show that (So long as the one prayed for is unaware of it) there is absolutly no impact. I know that its easy to demonstrate that prayer has no impact on a random, tested event such as flipping a coin.

Prayer didn&#039;t save America from 911, or from Katrina. If it didn&#039;t work then, why should it work now?

So, rather than rely on unquestioning faith in that verse, how about finding some way to show scientifically that prayer has a measurable impact?
