I know of a few studies on prayer in a medical contact which show that (So long as the one prayed for is unaware of it) there is absolutly no impact. I know that its easy to demonstrate that prayer has no impact on a random, tested event such as flipping a coin. Prayer didn't save America from 911, or from Katrina. If it didn't work then, why should it work now? So, rather than rely on unquestioning faith in that verse, how about finding some way to show scientifically that prayer has a measurable impact?
