Here's today's Washington Watch Daily commentary from FRC Radio:
In the abortion debate, liberals always have a card up their sleeve. And this time, they mean it. Last week, an abortion organization called “Exhale” released a line of e-cards that comfort women who’ve had abortions. According to a spokesman, the six cards give friends and family “a chance to honor and acknowledge someone’s experience.” But there's nothing honorable about ending an innocent child's life. The cards say things like “I think you did the right thing” and “There are no words to express my sympathy for your loss.” But the real question is whether people should be sending sympathy cards in the first place. After all, these moms aren’t just victims of the procedure, they're also victims of pro-choice propaganda. And offering condolences only strengthens the argument that the fetus was a person in the first place. What women really need aren't empty verses, but the word of life. We should give these moms our support, but if liberals are trying to celebrate abortion with these cards, I hope Exhale isn’t holding its breath.

I have an idea for a card...make it look like a picture postcard of "heaven"....with the words,
Wish you were here........

What strange cards... but the FRC is reading too much into them. They are only supposed to comfort women after an emotionally difficult event, thats all. A more specific version of 'get well soon.'
